How to order custom printed shirts and other products
DRUKiO is an online print studio where you can create and order personalized T-shirts, hoodies, polo shirts, kids’ items, caps and tote bags with your own design. You can do it all yourself — upload a logo or image, add text and clipart, choose a color and size, and see the result instantly. Below is a step-by-step guide to ordering, plus an explanation of our two main print techniques — DTF (transfer printing) and screen printing.
How to order step by step
Ordering takes a few minutes, and you don’t need any design software — everything happens right in the browser.
1. Choose a product
On the homepage in the “Choose a product” section, find the item you want — a T-shirt, hoodie, sweatshirt, polo, baby body, cap or tote bag. Each item lists the material, weight (g/m²) and fit.
2. Choose color and size
Choose the product color from the available palette and the size (XS–2XL, kids’, or universal for caps and bags). The color is reflected in the preview instantly.
3. Choose the print technique
Choose between DTF (transfer printing) — full-color print from 1 item — and screen printing (1 color only), which is cost-effective for larger runs. Both techniques can be combined on one item. Only DTF is available for polos and caps.
4. Create your design in the editor
The design editor opens. There you can upload your own image or logo (PNG, JPG), add text with various fonts and effects, insert clipart and a background. Elements can be freely moved, scaled and rotated.
5. Place the design in the print area
Choose the print location — front, back or sleeves — and place the design within the marked print area. The system warns you if the design goes outside the printable area.
6. Add to cart
When the design is ready, set the quantity and add the item to the cart. You can also save the design to your account to reorder it later.
7. Place your order
In the cart, review your order, enter contact details and choose delivery — Omniva parcel locker, Venipak parcel locker, or courier to your address.
8. Pay securely online
Payment is processed through the secure Klix (Citadele) payment system. After successful payment the order automatically goes into production and you receive a confirmation by email.
Print areas and sizes
Depending on the item you can print the front, back and sleeves. Each item has a maximum print area shown in the editor as a marked zone. For T-shirts the front and back area is up to 35×45 cm, sleeves — 10×10 cm; caps — 7×5 cm, tote bags — 34×38 cm on each side.
File requirements and design tips
- Formats: PNG (with transparent background) or JPG.
- Resolution: the higher the better — at least 150–300 DPI at final size is recommended. The editor warns you if the image is too small.
- Transparency: for DTF use PNG with a transparent background so there are no white edges around the design.
- Text: make sure there are no typos — the print is produced exactly from your design.
- Colors: slight shade differences between screen and finished product are normal.
Price, payment and delivery
🎁 Promo: every 5th DTF item — free! When ordering DTF (transfer) printing, for every 5 items in the cart the cheapest is free. The promo applies to DTF printing (screen printing does not participate).
The final price is based on the item, the print area, the number of print locations and quantity, and is always shown before you confirm the order. Payment is made online through the secure Klix (Citadele) gateway. Delivery is available to Omniva and Venipak parcel lockers or by courier across Latvia.
Production time: DTF (transfer) printing — 2–5 days; screen printing (and mixed printing) — 4–7 days + delivery.

What is the minimum quantity?
DTF transfer printing — from 1 item. Screen printing — from 5 items.
Which technique is more wash-resistant?
Both are durable. Screen printing is one of the most long-lasting methods; DTF also withstands regular washing well if care instructions are followed.
Can I order a single shirt with my design?
Yes. Choose DTF transfer printing — it’s cost-effective even from a single piece.
Can I print both the front and the back?
Yes. In the editor you can add a design to several locations — front, back and sleeves. Each print location affects the final price.
Can I return a personalized item?
Since items are made to your individual order, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized goods. In case of a defect, write to info@drukio.lv.
